Each year, America’s Seed Fund awards over $4 billion of equity-free funding to American small businesses through federal agencies. Through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, America’s Seed Fund provides non-dilutive funding to develop your technology and chart a path toward commercialization.
Currently, Larta offers formal programs for the U.S. Department of Energy (SBIR Phase I) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (SBIR Phase I and Phase II). We have also served as formal partner to NIH, NIST, NSF and more recently, NOAA on these agencies’ Phase I or II programs. We provide assistance to companies who have received Technical & Business Assistance (TABA) funding from all agencies, including NASA.

TABA is supplementary commercialization funding designed to complement SBIR/STTR grants from a TABA provider you identify. The goal of TABA is to improve commercialization outcomes, and can be used for various purposes, such as developing comprehensive commercialization plans, intellectual property strategies, market research, competitor analysis, and so much more. Larta played a pivotal role in advocating for TABA funds in Congress. Now, we stand ready to assist you with a system honed and proven over 32 years. Larta will help you through the process of obtaining TABA funds from government agencies. Ever since TABA’s implementation in 2019, Larta has supported over 350 innovations through this opportunity.
